You may want to do some homework before going to the dealer by reading up on this forum about faulty fuel pumps. Sounds like you may have one.Monday's appointment to have a few things checked out, including realigning the front license plate bracket, wasn't too successful. The license plate bracket is straighter now though. Today, Tuesday, the dealer's survey email popped up. Below are my comments and concerns regarding the service that I submitted to the dealer.

Monday looked like a hectic day in the service dept. Possibly overbooked. We arrived at 9:40 for a 10:00 appointment for AutoButler and 2 other issues. The front license plate bracket was installed crooked, wanted that straightened. Crankcase oil was over the fill mark on the dipstick. Smelled like gasoline on the dipstick to me. Service writer disagreed.
One fourth to one half quart of oil was drained. The assumption being to lower oil level. Checked the oil level this morning, Tuesday the 10th, before starting the engine. The oil level is still over the fill mark on the dipstick. My plan is to have the oil analyzed to find out if there is gasoline in the oil. Meanwhile, damage could be occurring inside the engine if my suspicions are correct. How else can the crankcase dipstick keep showing an over-filled condition?
We left the dealership at 1:40, 4 (four) hours later.

License plate brackets make it easy and convenient to mount license plates, but their usual mounting locations on the bumper make them particularly vulnerable to impact damage in a collision. If your bumper license plate bracket sustains damage, you can pay the high price for a replacement part at the dealer, or you can save money and get a Replace license plate bracket.

Replace has quality replacement license plate brackets that are identical to original equipment (OE) for much less than the OE price. License plate brackets are easily damaged from even minor impacts. Unfortunately, instead of replacing a broken bracket, many choose to improvise and end up with a mounting that detracts from the rest of the vehicle. There's no reason to go this route when a quality replacement license plate bracket is available from Replace. In the past your options for replacing a damaged bumper license plate bracket were finding a good used one, buying a cheap replacement, or paying big bucks for an OE bumper license plate bracket. Because damage to these parts is so prevalent, searching for a useable piece from a scrap yard is a waste of time.
